Sinuplasty

Sinuplasty has been FDA approved since 2005 and the procedure has been performed thousands of time with an excellent safety profile. Rather than cutting into bone and tissue, sinuplasty uses a dilator to permanently widen the sinus openings by expanding the small affected areas, which gently expands and parts the tissue.

Turbinoplasty

Turbinoplasty is a nasal procedure that can often be performed in the clinic. It reduces the size of the congested tissue in the nose, leaving you with more improved airflow. Many patients notice signficant improvement during allergy season, less snoring and better quality of sleep.

Tonsillectomy

Tonsillectomy is one of the most common surgeries kids and teens get. A tonsillectomy is a surgery to remove the tonsils. A tonsillectomy may be necessary to treat breathing and other problems related to enlarged tonsils. Recovery time for a tonsillectomy is usually at least 10 days to two weeks.

Dr. Knight offers intracapsular tonsillectomy as a safer and somewhat less painful option to traditional tonsillectomy.

Ear Tubes

The eardrum is a delicate structure. If it becomes inflamed or infected, fluid may build up behind the eardrum and causes serious problems. This can happen more often than you might think because many children have had several middle-ear infections before being diagnosed. The good news? There’s always help available – including tube inserts called “ear tubes”. These small hollow cylinders are inserted during a procedure called a myringotomy.
